On the one hand, it’s great to hear Toyota is working on a new MR2. It’s the rest of the news that has me worried. You see, Toyota is supposedly going to make this next MR2 a hybrid! I’m skeptical of any company’s ability to incorporate the current or even next generation of hybrid technology into a sports car, without it having any negative effects on the drivability, handling, and overall fun factor. I hope Toyota proves my concerns baseless. (more at AutoExpress)
